Sales Technician

 

Tecnikk Computers Ltd is a supplier of PC compatible computer components and peripherals across Macclesfield, supplying thousands of end users, students, public and private sector companies. We also provide a service for Laptop/PC repairs including Network setup and maintenance for local businesses.

MAIN PURPOSE OF THE JOB

You will support the business in a wide range of tasks, which include testing, diagnosing and repairing computers, processing RMAs, selling products and services to potential customers as well as providing excellent customer service. You will also be required to do on-site Repairs/Visits to Customers Houses/Workplace.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Testing, diagnosing and repairing refurbished computers for resale
• Process RMAs correctly
• Test, troubleshoot and diagnose items to component level
• Building PC systems
• Building bespoke / custom build systems
• Testing of computer systems
• Selling products and services to potential customers in an effective way
• To provide potential and existing customers with the highest level of service
• To deal with enquiries from customers in a courteous, professional and knowledgeable way, effectively communicate the products and services offered by the company
• Picking and packing customer’s orders
• Performing Onsite PC Service and Repairs for Customers
• Booking in goods/Stock

 

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Customer Service knowledge and experience
• Good level of computer literacy including knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office
• Excellent technical and product knowledge
• Enthusiastic with a positive Can Do attitude
• Full UK Driving License Required
